The Joy of Serving Others
Scripture: Acts 20:35 - keep in mind the words of the Lord Jesus, for He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’
Reflection: In Acts 20:35, Paul reminds us of Jesus' words: "It is more blessed to give than to receive." Serving others brings joy and fulfillment that goes beyond what we receive in return.
Devotional: Paul, in his farewell speech to the Ephesian elders, quotes Jesus saying, "It is more blessed to give than to receive." This profound truth speaks to the heart of Christian service. When we serve others, we experience a deep sense of joy and fulfillment that material possessions or personal achievements cannot provide.
Serving others allows us to participate in God's work and see lives transformed. It shifts our focus from ourselves to the needs of others, cultivating a spirit of generosity and gratitude.
