Brent Wernsing

I have been in ministry for 16 years. I started as a creative director and youth pastor at a church plant in my home town. After 9+ years at that church, God called my wife and I to plant Kairos Church in 2017.

I have a deep passion for God's word and an even deeper passion to help others grab a hold of it as they learn to embrace Jesus in every moment of their life. I am a creative at heart and love to use my creativity to share Jesus with people in any capacity. While I am very serious about preaching God's word, I am a bit of a goofball, so I love to have fun with it.

Along with being church planters, and pastoring, my wife and I are also foster parents. We have 9 forever kids and at any given time we may also have 2-3 foster children in our care. We are very passionate about foster care and that is woven into the DNA of our church. 

Few quick things that you must know: You will rarely find me without my hat on. You will always find me with an iced coffee in my hand. There is a 90% chance a conversation with me will be interrupted by one of 9...or more kids (I am a foster parent). My wife, Christine, is much better looking and younger-looking than me and I am aware of that. Lastly, I am not as old as the gray in my beard showcases.
