Nehemiah 2:17-18 - “You see the trouble we are in. Jerusalem lies in ruins and its gates have been burned down. Come, let’s rebuild Jerusalem’s wall, so that we will no longer be a disgrace.” 18 I told them how the gracious hand of my God had been on me, and what the king had said to me. They said, “Let’s start rebuilding,” and they were encouraged to do this good work.
Nehemiah 3:1-31 -1 Eliashib the high priest and his fellow priests began rebuilding… 2 The men of Jericho built NEXT TO Eliashib, and NEXT TO them Zaccur built. 4 NEXT TO them Meremoth, made repairs. BESIDE them Meshullam made repairs. NEXT TO them Zadok made repairs. 5 BESIDE them the Tekoites made repairs…7 NEXT TO them the repairs were done by Melatiah, Jadon , and the men of Gibeon and Mizpah… 8 AFTER him Uzziel, the goldsmith, made repairs…and NEXT TO him Hananiah son of the perfumer made repairs. 9 NEXT TO them Rephaiah, ruler over half the district of Jerusalem, made repairs. 10 AFTER them Jedaiah made repairs….NEXT TO him Hattush made repairs. 12 BESIDE him Shallum, ruler over half the district of Jerusalem, made repairs—he and his daughters. 16 AFTER him Nehemiah, ruler over half the district of Beth-zur, made repairs… 17 NEXT TO him the Levites made repairs… BESIDE him Hashabiah, ruler over half the district of Keilah, made repairs for his district. 18 AFTER him their fellow Levites made repairs …19 NEXT TO him Ezer son of Jeshua, ruler over Mizpah, made repairs… 20 AFTER him Baruch diligently repaired… 21 BESIDE him Meremoth, made repairs… 22 And NEXT TO him the priests from the surrounding area made repairs. 23 AFTER them Benjamin and Hasshub made repairs… BESIDE them Azariah, made repairs. 24 AFTER him Binnui made repairs… 25 BESIDE him Pedaiah , 26 and the temple servants made repairs… 27 NEXT TO him the Tekoites made repairs… 29 AFTER them Zadok made repairs. And BESIDE him Shemaiah, guard of the East Gate, made repairs. 30NEXT TO him Hananiah and Hanun made repairs. AFTER them Meshullam made repairs. 31 NEXT TO him Malchijah, one of the goldsmiths, made repairs.
TO BOLDLY GO, WE MUST ENCOURAGE AND STRENGTHEN ONE ANOTHER TO REMAIN STEADFAST IN OUR PURSUIT OF JESUS.
