Devotional Day 4: Embracing Divine Redirection

Introduction:
Welcome to Day 4 of our devotional series. Today, let's focus on embracing divine redirection in our lives.

Scripture:
Acts 9:3-6 - As he traveled and was nearing Damascus, a light from heaven suddenly flashed around him. 4 Falling to the ground, he heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” 5 “Who are You, Lord?” he said.  “I am Jesus, the One you are persecuting,” He replied. 6 “But get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.” 

Main Point:
Consider a moment in your life where God intervened and redirected your path. Saul encountered a divine redirection on the road to Damascus. Reflect on your own experiences of God's redirection.

Quote from the Sermon:
"Jesus rejects our sinful direction and, through His resurrection, redeems and redirects us."

Devotional Reflection:
Think about the circumstances that led to Saul's redirection. Recall moments in your life where God's intervention brought about a change in direction. Thank Him for His guiding hand.

Challenge:
Read Acts 9:3-6 again. Spend time in prayer, expressing gratitude for the times God redirected your path. Surrender to His ongoing guidance in your life.

Closing Prayer:
Dear Lord, thank you for the times You've redirected us. Help us embrace divine redirection and trust in Your perfect plan for our lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
