WE BUILD UP IN THE HOLINESS BY REMEMBERING WHAT JESUS DID & LOOKING TO THE WORD TO BECOME MORE LIKE HIM.
HOW TO CONTEND THE FAITH: PRAY IN HOLY SPIRITJude 20 pray in the Holy Spirit
WE CANNOT CONTEND FOR THE FAITH WITHOUT THE SPIRIT SPEAKING TO US & THROUGH US.
Jude 19 - These {scoffers} create divisions and are unbelievers, not having the Spirit.
WE PRAY IN THE SPIRIT BY MAKING OUR PRAYERS SELFLESS & SPIRIT-CENTERED.
HOW TO CONTEND THE FAITH: KEEP IN LOVE OF GOD.Jude 21 keep yourselves in the love of God.
KEEPING IN LOVE OF GOD MEANS PUTTING HIM BEFORE EVERYTHING ELSE.
John 15:10 - If you keep My commands you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commands and remain in His love.
OUR LOVE OF GOD IS SHOWN IN OUR PASSIONATE, WILLING, AND EAGER PURSUIT AND PRACTICE OF HIS WORD.

CONTENDING THE FAITH TOWARD THE SCOFFERS:
- DOUBTING SCOFFERS
- DIM SCOFFERS
- DEFILED SCOFFERS
FAITH TOWARD THE DOUBTING SCOFFERJude 22 Have mercy on those who doubt
WE CONTEND NOT ONLY FOR OUR FAITH BUT ALSO FOR THE FAITH OF OTHERS.
FAITH TOWARD THE DIM SCOFFERJude 23 - save others by snatching them from the fire.
WE SNATCH OTHERS FROM THE FIRE BY SHOWING THE GRACE OF JESUS AND TELLING THE TRUTH OF JESUS.
FAITH TOWARD THE DEFILED SCOFFERJude 23 - have mercy on others but with fear, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.
1 Timothy 2:3-6 - God our Savior, 4 who wants everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and humanity, Christ Jesus, Himself human, 6 who gave Himself—a ransom for all, a testimony at the proper time.
2 Peter 3:17-18 -Therefore, dear friends, since you know this in advance, be on your guard, so that you are not led away by the error of lawless people and fall from your own stability. 18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
