Brandish the Faith - Day 3

Scripture:
Genesis 3:14-15 - Then the Lord God said to the serpent: Because you have done this, 15 I will put hostility between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed. He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel. 

Devotional:
Today, let's explore the roots of deception and division as seen in Genesis 3:14-15. The Lord declared hostility between the serpent and humanity, foretelling the ultimate victory through the seed of the woman. In creating the "DON'T TREAD ON THEE" symbol, we aim to shut down the enemy's deception, just as Jesus crushed the serpent's head on the cross. 

Reflect on how the enemy works to deceive and divide. Consider the importance of brandishing our faith as a defense against deceptive tactics aimed at distorting God's truth. 

Daily Challenge:
Identify one area in your life where the enemy may be attempting to distort truth. Take intentional steps to counteract this deception through prayer and seeking God's guidance. 

Prayer:
Lord, grant us discernment to recognize the enemy's tactics and the courage to brandish our faith against deception. May we stand firm in the victory secured by Jesus on the cross. Amen.
