The Danger of Promiscuous Grace

Today, we confront the dangers of promiscuous grace, where individuals accept God's grace but fail to live in His truth, leading to destruction. We examine examples from Cain, Korah, and Balaam, illustrating how deviation from truth results in various forms of defilement, rejection, and blasphemy.

Scripture: 
Jude 11 - Woe to them! For they have traveled in the way of Cain, have abandoned themselves to the error of Balaam for profit, and have perished in Korah’s rebellion.

Cain's Defilement (Genesis 4) - included envy, jealousy, hatred and murder. Defiling his own heart and mind and defiling the body of his brother. 

Korah's Rejection (Numbers 16) - included a rejection of God's word, his will and his promise. Also a rejection of God's chosen leader, prophet and preacher. 

Balaam's Blaspheming (Numbers 22) - included a desire for fame, greed and personal gain.

 "These "dreamers" were saved by grace but never sanctified by his truth. And so they return to depravity and become slaves to sin once again."
