Favor That Transforms
Scripture Reading:
Ephesian 1:3-7 - Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavens. 4 For He chose us in Him, before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love 5 He predestined us to be adopted through Jesus Christ for Himself, according to His favor and will, 6 to the praise of His glorious grace that He favored us with in the Beloved. 7 We have redemption in Him.
Devotional
Mary’s favor paved the way for our favor. Through her obedience, the Savior entered the world, bringing redemption and grace to all who believe. Paul’s words in Ephesians 1 remind us that as followers of Jesus, we are recipients of the same favor that Mary experienced. This favor isn’t based on our works but on God’s unmerited grace through Christ.
The Favor of Redemption
God’s favor transforms our lives. It brings forgiveness, freedom, and purpose. Like Mary, we are chosen to carry the message of Jesus to the world, empowered by the Holy Spirit. This favor isn’t just for our benefit—it’s for the glory of God and the blessing of others.
Living in Favor
Favor changes how we see ourselves and our mission. It calls us to live with confidence, knowing we are loved and chosen by God. It also challenges us to share the good news of Jesus, inviting others to experience the same grace and transformation.
Application

Closing Prayer
Lord, thank You for the favor of redemption through Jesus Christ. Help me to live in the fullness of Your grace, walking in confidence and sharing Your love with others. May my life reflect the transformative power of Your favor. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
